Over a month later...

and few miles added to the count.

Yesterday was the kind of day a south-eastern cyclist dreams about. Sunshine in abundance, moderate temperatures and practically no humidity.

With few miles under my belt for the year, it was surprisingly comfortable to reel off 50 miles. The first 20 were a fair bit harder and faster than the final 30 due to the company of a couple of riders with Lots of miles in their legs. Specifically, they had done 3 back to back centuries two weeks before racking up some good mileage.

Hobbling around on a sprained knee for two weeks, I feel much better turning circles on a bike.

New helmet coming in the mail tonight!

Hopefully I'll be back on the bike tonight.
